LOOP Sandbox
This notice describes how the LOOP demonstration uses your designs, browser data, and optional services.
For testing and project demonstrations. Test orders and Amazon Pay sandbox checkout involve no real charge, manufacturing, or shipping. Prices and product previews are illustrative.
Your browser workspace
A guest cookie identifies this browser's workspace. LOOP uses a hash of that guest identifier to associate saved records with the workspace. This is a browser guest identity, rather than a verified customer account.
Browser local storage keeps your working design and name, language choice, generated preview images, and AI stylist conversation and draft. Session storage can keep an Amazon Pay checkout return reference while a sandbox payment is checked.
Saved designs and test orders
When you save a design, LOOP stores its name, selected parts and configuration, record ID, and timestamps. Test orders also store the price quote, order status, and references used to prevent duplicate submissions. Amazon Pay orders can include the sandbox checkout session ID, charge ID, and payment update time.
These records are associated with the hashed guest identifier and stored in a local SQLite database or in Supabase, depending on the deployment's configuration. Connection authorization records are also stored when a connected client is enabled.
Amazon Pay sandbox checkout
Amazon hosts the sandbox checkout pages where you enter test account and payment information. LOOP sends Amazon the order reference, USD amount, and checkout settings, then checks the returned transaction against the order.
LOOP's payment integration keeps selected fields needed to verify the sandbox transaction. Its order records do not store card numbers or buyer names, email addresses, or shipping addresses received from Amazon. Amazon processes information entered on its pages under its own notices.
Optional AI stylist
If you use the AI stylist, the server sends your conversation messages, selected language, the product catalog, and your current design configuration when included to OpenAI to generate a proposal. The API request uses the setting store: false; OpenAI's own data handling applies to its processing. The conversation is retained in this browser so you can continue it.
Connected clients
If you authorize a client such as ChatGPT to connect to LOOP, it can access the connected guest workspace's saved designs and test orders, create or revise designs, and prepare quotes. A confirmed test order can be created through that connection. Data returned to the client is handled under that client's own policies.
Your controls and contact
You can remove saved designs in the app. Removing a saved design keeps an open working draft and existing test orders. You can clear this site's browser storage using your browser settings; clearing the guest cookie can also remove your access to its saved workspace without deleting the server records.
The demo currently has no order deletion control or automatic expiration of design and order records. No fixed retention period is implemented for those records.
